Commercial Bank International (CBI) announced that it has donated AED 83,000 to Ajman Club for the Disabled, a non-profit organization founded to improve the lives of disabled people in Ajman.
The donation will go towards purchasing an equipped van which will provide accessible transport for members of the club, enabling them to engage in more development and leisure activities.
Commenting on the donation, Mr. Marwan Abdul Majid Abdullah, Executive Director of Ajman Club for the Disabled said “We are delighted to receive this donation from a long-standing local bank like CBI. Equipped vans with wheelchair accessibility make it significantly easier and more comfortable for our members to travel, transforming the type of treatment we can offer them. On behalf of the club members who will benefit from this gift, I would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to CBI for their generosity."
Mr. Mark Robinson, CEO of CBI, said “At CBI we value an opportunity to meaningfully give back to society and so we are honoured to play a role in improving the quality of life for members of Ajman Club for the Disabled. This contribution builds on our previous community investments into the fields of health, research and education, and reinforces our commitment to the local community.”
