Commercial Bank International’s talent grows stronger every day
Tuesday, April 30, 2013

Commercial Bank International continues with its Emiratisation efforts to facilitate the integration of UAE Nationals in the private sector. By participating in Careers UAE 2013 at Dubai World Trade Centre, CBI has the opportunity to interact with UAE Nationals keen to pursue rewarding careers in banking.

UAE graduates and experienced professionals from across the Emirates are invited to meet with CBI at Careers UAE 2013 to gain an insight into the employee benefits associated with working in the private sector.

Chief Executive Officer, Kris Babicci comments on CBI’s UAE National outreach, “We are always looking for Emiratis that are keen to contribute to the growth of the UAE. Through participating in Careers UAE, we seek to find the best UAE talent to join our Bank at a time of growth and positive change.”

Showcasing career opportunities at CBI, a variety of programmes have been developed with the objective of providing UAE Nationals with both theoretical knowledge and practical training in banking.

Through the first phase of learning, all trainees complete extensive training at the CBI Training Centre to create a foundation of theoretical knowledge, upon which the second phase of ‘on-the-job’ training is based. As the individuals embark on a journey to gain a comprehensive working knowledge of the banking sector through exposure to real working environments, it is with the support of an assigned mentor that trainees officially enroll in various positions across the Bank.

Kris Babicci notes that “Moving forward, we have a significant opportunity to build on our Emiratisation efforts; through continued work in developing UAE National training programmes and a forefront presence at UAE career fairs.”

Along with its new brand identity, CBI is expanding its current branch network in the UAE with the addition of new branches that reflect the new brand and a personalised banking experience providing top quality service, advanced and secure technology, an expanded product range and an increased international reach through the strategic partnership with QNB Group.
