Commercial Bank International (CBI) honored 20 long service employees at their annual Suhoor gathering held at The Atlantis, Palm Jumeirah
CBI recognized 20 long service employees who have completed 10, 15 and 20 years working for the Bank. Employees were individually called on stage at the prestigious event to be personally awarded and gratified for their outstanding commitment to the Bank.
The annual event stands as an occasion for Senior Management and Board Members of CBI to give back to their employees whilst celebrating the Holy Month of Ramadan. Commenting on the evening, Chief Executive Officer, Kris Babicci said “It is great to get our CBI family together. This year has been a big year for us so far and we are proud to have such dedicated and committed team members”.
CBI also took the opportunity to invite Lammtara, the creators of the popular 3D animated Arabic cartoon series FREEJ, and their newest partners to the event. The popular TV show, which follows the story of four old grandmothers living in a secluded neighborhood in modern day Dubai celebrates the national culture of the UAE through highlighting local dialect, customs and traditions in a manner that entertains and educates. Viewers of the show, which will be aired throughout the Holy month of Ramadan, can tune in and see the four famous characters, Um Saeed, Um Saloom, Um Allawi and Um Khammas visiting a CBI branch.
The 5th series of FREEJ is currently being broadcast on Dubai TV and on Sama TV during the Holy month of Ramadan.
